Obituary of John “Jack’ “Jackie” Grant

Grant, John “Jack’ “Jackie”, 80, of Mount Kisco, NY, died peacefully in his sleep on November 7th. Jack was born in Tarrytown, NY on February 8, 1936. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Jack was well known as THE legendary bartender for over 40 years at Tighe’s North Pub now known as Jimmy’s in Katonah. He was a long time member of the Mt Kisco American Legion. Jack enjoyed all sports especially “the horses”. He was known for placing a wager from time to time. He is survived by his loving daughters Cathie, Joan, Jackie and Karen and his grandchildren: Ronnie, Angela, Griffin, Logan and Nicole. He is the brother of Bryan and Bruce Carson. His family will receive friends on Thursday, November 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Friday, November 11th from 2-5pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. Interment will be Private In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to American Legion Post 163, 1 Legion Way, Mt.
