Dear family and all others who loved Chelsea, Our hearts are with you in these difficult days as you mourn Chelsea's tragic death. We had the pleasure of meeting and having lunch with Chelsea in January 2018 in Iringa. Our son Will was a fellow Peace Corps volunteer with Chelsea and served in the same region of Tanzania. Chelsea is very special to our son and also to us. These last few weeks we have been telling the story to all our friends and family of the life of love and service Chelsea lived. May she rest in peace and may you find peace in the coming days.

We watched Chelsea grow from a sweet, always smiling, little girl to a passionate and compassionate young woman, striving to make a difference in this world. She succeeded!!! Blessed to have her at our home throughout her childhood years, playing Blessed to have been her confirmation sponsor. Blessed to have been able to spend time with Chelsea, both before and after her peace corps adventure. We laughed about how it would be, and we laughed ( and cried) about how those 2 1/2 years actually were. She brought me a special gift of fabric from Tanzania, that I will always cherish. I was so touched she thought of me. Chelsea your were an angel here on earth and a guardian angel in heaven-watching over all of us. I love you and will miss you
