Obituary of Jayne T. Spellman

Jayne T. Spellman, age 87, of Denville, NJ, a former longtime resident of Katonah, NY and Somers, NY, died July 10, 2019. Jayne was born in Chicago, IL, November 18, 1931. A woman who held many treasured titles - Mrs., Mom, Mommers, Grandma, Mema, G-Ma, Gam-Gam - will be remembered for her love of family, love of children, optimism, intelligence, sense of humor and her faithful devotion to the Catholic Church.  Jayne is survived by her 6 children and 12 grandchildren: Kathy (Gabriella, Gianluca, Liliana) De’Rossi; Bill and Dianna (Bill (Mayson), Brian, Christine, Elizabeth) Spellman Jr; Karen and James Zachacz; Geri-Lynn and Patrick (Daniel, Caroline, Anna) Sullivan; Mary Jayne and Doug (Douglas, Grace) Dreyer; Teri and Darryl Schumacher; and her two great grandchildren; Everett and Wyland Spellman. Jayne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, William Spellman, and their two sons, Michael and John. 

The family will receive friends at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY, on Sunday, July 14th from 4-7pm.The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 15th, at 10am, at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, 55 Valley Road, Katonah, NY.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Rt 100, Somers, NY.
