Obituary of Nancy LoCicero
Nancy LoCicero (nee Visceglie) of Somers, NY, formerly of New Rochelle, passed on Saturday, August 3, 2019.
Nancy was born on October 15, 1942 in the Bronx to Anthony and Cecilia Visceglie.
She met and married the love of her life Salvatore (Sammy) LoCicero. They spent 61 wonderful years together and were truly devoted to each other. They married on January 20, 1963 and had two daughters, Missy and Cindy. Nancy and her daughters had an amazing and loving relationship. Her girls brought so much joy to her life. Nancy and her daughters had an extremely close relationship, and her daughters worshipped her.
Nancy lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She especially loved spending time with her five granddaughters, Gianna, Charissa, Jordan, Ryann & Remy. She adored them and they adored her. She was not only a grandmother, but one of their best friends. Nancy also loved staying in her vacation home in Brigantine and playing the slot machines at Harrah’s. She loved surrounding herself with family and friends. Her door was always open and there was always room at her table for anyone and everyone. She enjoyed “hanging out” with her kids and their friends. She also loved spending time with her sister Jeanie. They traveled, played cards, shopped and laughed till their stomachs hurt.
Nancy was a ray of light who was always there to help any and all who needed it.
Nancy is the beloved wife of Sal LoCicero and the loving mother of Missy and Cindy. She is the devoted grandmother of Gianna, Charissa(Bobby), Jordan(Jimmy), Ryann, and Remy. She is the mother in law of Richie Harold whom she loved like a son. Nancy is the sister of Jeannie Mancuso(Tony), sister in law of Mary Ann(John). She was predeceased by her twin brother Nicky(Vicky), sister in laws Anna(John), Rosie(Alfio), brother in laws Benny(Tina), Tony(Anna). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who she loved and adored.
Family and friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd., Katonah, NY on Tuesday, August 6th from 4-8 PM.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 95 Plum Brook Rd., Somers, NY on Wednesday, August 7th at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, 101 Mill Street, Putnam Valley, NY.
