Obituary of Gloria M O'Keefe

Gloria M. O’Keefe 10/19/1926-01/13/2020 It Is with profound sadness we announce the passing on January 13,2020 of Gloria our loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She left us while sleeping peacefully, she was 93 years old. Gloria O’Keefe beloved wife of the late James O’Keefe. Much loved mother of James O’Keefe and daughter-in-law Karen O’Keefe, Susan Falco and son-in-law Randy Falco, the late Dennis O’Keefe, and the late Kevin O’Keefe. Cherished grandmother of Michael Falco (Sara Falco) Matthew Falco and Jessica Falco. Great Grandmother of Luke Falco and Jake Falco. She is also remembered by her many nieces and nephews all whom loved her dearly. We all will never forget her sweetness, big heart and the undying love and caring she had for her family. Gloria was an accomplished pianist and classically trained vocalist. She was known to break out in song at many family functions and even in her later years suffering from Alzheimer's never missed a note on the piano or forget a line from her long repertoire of songs. As a teenager she was a bobby-soxer and adored Frank Sinatra. As a lifetime Yankee fan she loved Joe DiMaggio and she’s still waiting for an Italian President of the U.S. Gloria spoke fluent Italian like her immigrant parents and cursed a blue streak in Italian when yelling at her Irish husband. Gloria lived a full life as a wonderful mother, homemaker and worker in the retail and manufacturing sector. She loved to cook, and we all loved her Italian dishes the most. She will be sorely missed. All are welcome to attend a visitation at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY on Sunday, January 19 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 20 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick's RC Church, 7 Pound Ridge Road, Bedford, NY. Private interment will follow on Tuesday at the Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to The Alzheimers Association: www.alz.org
