Obituary of Cecilia E Cervoni

Cecilia E Cervoni “Ceil” 79, of Katonah NY died Sunday, March 15 2020 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. Ceil was born on June 28, 1940 in Hawthorne NY to the late Frank and Eileen Westerman. She was a graduate of Pleasantville High School. She worked for Northern Westchester hospital and then served as the secretary of St. Mary’s Parish for 20 years. She was a well-known and beloved resident of Katonah NY for 45 years. There wasn’t a person she wouldn’t talk to, hug, or a child she wouldn’t smile at. If you visited her house, you’d likely find her watching the NY Giants or Yankee’s with our dad Henry, and you were always offered a cup of coffee, a Pepsi, or an iced tea. She generously donated to St. Jude and Disabled American Veteran’s every single month. Ceil is the beloved wife of Henry Cervoni, and is the loving mother of Debby Tobias of Katonah NY, Mark Cervoni of Katonah NY, and Laura Anderson of Apex NC. She is the devoted grandmother of Taylor, Danielle, Carter and Savannah. Ceil is the sister of Mary, Patrick, Frank, and Kathleen and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial in her memory will be celebrated this summer.
