We are very sorry to hear of Jeannie’s passing. We have very fond memories of her from her visits to Galway and ours to the US where we were always made feel very welcome and where we shared many stories of family and friends. One of the highlights of our travels was a joint wedding anniversary, Tony and Jeannie’s, Jane’s and mine, at your home in 2010 as a surprise for her. She was a very special person and we always remarked on her generous nature and wonderful sense of humour. To Tony, John, Martin, Steve,Kevin, Mimi and Michael, you will treasure special memories of a great wife and Mum, as will your spouses, her grandchildren and friends. We too in Ireland will also treasure happy memories of a very special person. Rest in peace, dear Jeannie.
Eamonn, Jane and Ian,

We have beautiful memories of her trips to Ireland meeting her uncle, aunts and many cousins. She gave such a warm welcome to all her Irish relatives who visited her in Somers introducing them to her family with whom we enjoyed much laughter and happy memories.

My daughter, Kate, married John Danko, 9 years ago and was welcomed into a big and loving family, led by it’s Matriarch, Jeanie. She was a wonderful person who welcomed Kate’s family into her big, extended family. I was lucky to spend some time in Jeanie’s company over the years and so very happy (to quote Kate) She hit the jackpot in mothers-in-law. Rest In Peace Jeanie. You were loved by all who knew you and will be missed by family and many friends.

Aunt Jeannie took me on my first Ferris wheel ride, I was probably about 5 or 6 and screamed like a wild animal. She waited decades to tell me what a Royal Pain in her butt I was. That's how I know she loved me, she never forgot me, and we will never forget her. Love you Aunt Jeannie, thank you for loving me, you are a shinning star in my heart for Always..Love, Maerushka and family.
