Obituary of James Falk

James S. Falk, Jr., 72, of Somers, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 8^th, 2020 after a long battle with cancer.

            James was born on August 1^st, 1948 in Yonkers, NY to the late James S. Falk, Sr. and Bernice Williams.  He received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Navy in 1973. He worked for the Gate of Heaven Cemetery for  43 years, always showing compassion and kindness to the grieving families.

            James was the beloved husband of Joanne (Wawrzynski).  They were married on September 11^th, 1971, and shared a very loving marriage for 49 years.

            He is survived by his sisters, Deborah Falk, Cathy DeAddio (Mike) and brother, Warren Falk (Colleen) and many, many loving nieces and nephews.  Predeceased are sisters, Darlene Wicks and Cynthia Tardella.

            James will be greatly missed by family and friends who knew and loved him.

            Friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd., Katonah, NY on Thursday, September 10^th from 5-8 PM.

            A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 55 Valley Rd., Katonah, NY on Friday, September 11^th at 10:00 AM. Burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
