So long my favorite mini person
Sending love, strength to my family through the passing of our Grandmother, great grandmother, mother and sister ❤ and our Tennis, Bowling, Bridge winner (but the list continues)
This pandemic has distorted everything in our life, from our basic routine to losing someone.
In this case, our grandmother lived to 94, faced mulitples cancers, and even contracted covid this year, she did not die from any and it was maybe simply her time.
I know now for sure that I come from a line of strong women!
It has made me think about everyone that has lost or is losing someone without being able to see them, and are not able to honor them properly, and mostly to grieve together.
Because we all know that this is how we find peace in our heart to make sense of it all.
To our grandmother, we shared a special bond, that I will cherish forever, I'll miss painting your nails, I'll miss playing bowling with you because you won ALL THE TIME, I'll miss making your breakfast, I'll miss drinking wine together and discuss the types of cheese and practice French, I'll miss your sense of humor, I'll even miss Jeapordy, your favorite show (but again maybe because you knew all the questions, so again you would still win!, I'll miss walking around the lake, something so basic but you were always so grateful for.
I'll miss your hair that always had curlers, your fun hats, and your famous half of banana left in the fridge.
These simple moments built a relationship and the story of our life together, I will remember these moments and nothing else.
