Obituary of Jacqueline S. Mandia

Jacqueline S. Mandia (Jackie) of Goldens Bridge, NY died Wednesday, March 10, 2011 at Northern Westchester Hospital.

Jackie was born on October 1, 1932 in Scarsdale NY to the late John Spada and Nancy Buonome.

Jackie was a graduate of the State University of New York, New Paltz and received a Master’s, a professional degree in education from the State University of Connecticut. She began her professional career as a teacher in the Bedford Central School District and served as principal of her beloved Bedford Hills Elementary for 20 years.

Jackie is survived by her loving son, Bruce and her cherished grandchildren, Christopher and Katharine.

Friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd., Katonah, NY on Sunday, March 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Joseph’s RC Church, Somers NY on Monday, March 15th at 10:00 AM.
