Obituary of Norman L. Taylor

Norman L.Taylor, 95, of Bedford Hills, NY died Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Northern Westchester Hospital after a brief illness.

Norm was born on May 28, 1926 in Nyack, NY to the late Clyde and Ida Taylor. He was an Army Air Corps veteran and a 1950 graduate of RPI University with a B.S. in Physics.  He worked as an executive for IBM for 36 years until retirement in 1989.

Norm is the beloved husband for 70 years of Margaret (nee Sterl) and the loving father of Ginny (Jim) of Harrison, NY and Chip of Greenwood Lake, NY. He is the devoted grandfather of Carolyn (Matt), Jamie (Yoli), and Greg (Renee) and four great-grandchildren, Connor, Danny, Natalie and Henry.

A memorial service to celebrate Norman’s life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 15 S Bedford Rd, Mt Kisco, NY 10549.
