Obituary of Phyllis M. Cassetta

Phyllis Cassetta, 80, a 7-year resident of Somers, NY previously of Bedford, NY passed away at her home on February, 10, 2022.

She was born on October 29, 1941 in New York City to Anthony and Josephine Sanna.

Phyllis graduated from Christopher Columbus High School Bronx, NY.

She was happy & fun-loving, and enjoyed gardening, traveling and she was an avid sports fan.

Phyllis is survived by her beloved husband, Douglas, her loving children: Douglas M. (spouse Kim) of Wilmington Vt, Linda Cali (spouse Joseph) of Ridgefield Ct and Laura Carrillo (spouse Carlos) of Carmel NY. She is the devoted grandmother of Michael, Jordan, Sophia , Ashley, Rianna, Alexander, and Maddie and she is also survived by her sister Grace Lafferty of Fort Pierce Fla.

Her family will receive friends at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd, Katonah, NY on Monday, February 14 and Tuesday Feb 15 both days from 4 – 8 pm.

 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 16 at 11:30 am at St. Joseph's RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY.

 

Interment will follow at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Ave., Hawthorne, NY.
