Obituary of Robert C. Quentin

Robert “Bob” Quentin, age 98, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2022, at the Bethel Health Center in Bethel, CT.

Bob was active in his community and church in South Salem, NY as a member and elder at the South Salem Presbyterian Church. His love of the Boy Scouts of America for 50 years was recognized through his positions as District Commissioner, past District Roundtable member, and was a recipient of the National Hornaday award. 

As a World War II veteran, he served in the US Army at the Battle of the Bulge. He made a presentation in Washington DC at the World War II memorial for its 75th anniversary.

After graduating from Syracuse University, he enjoyed his lifetime career as an architect and landscape designer.

Bob is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara, of Hampton, NH and his three children, and their spouses Ellen Quentin (Michael) Ornaf of Hampton, NH, William (Beverly) Quentin of Poughquag, NY and David Quentin of Ossining, NY.  Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather of five and great-grandfather of two.

A memorial gathering will take place on April 20, 2022 from 4-8 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, Katonah, NY.
