Ellen and I were friends for well over 50 years. She was maid of honor at my wedding. She was born, coincidentally, on the exact same date as my late brother. I'll always remember, and deeply miss, her beautiful voice, her infectious laugh, our long heart-to-heart talks, and her insight into whatever human mysteries we were discussing. Rest in peace, dear Ellen. Love. Adrienne Cadik
