Obituary of Helen Santoro

Santoro, Helen , 91, of Bedford Hills, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 4, 2016. Helen was born on January 24, 1925 in the Bronx, NY to Vincent and Antonette and was the youngest of 10 siblings, all whom she loved dearly. Helen married the late Frances Santoro and has two loving sons, Michael (and Rosemarie) of Hawthorne, NY and Robert (and Maria) of New City, NY. She is the beloved grandmother of Robert, Jaclyn (and Matthew), Lindsay (and Andrew), Stephen, and Jeffrey and the proud great grandmother of Matthew and Gianna. She was a seamstress for many years and continued her love of sewing into her 90’s. Helen’s entire family meant the world to her and she loved them deeply. She loved living in Fellowship Hall for over twenty years and enjoyed going to the Senior Center everyday with her dear friends. Helen’s smile, sense of humor, and abundance of love will be greatly missed. Friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY on Tuesday, November 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 117 Valley Road, Katonah, NY on Wednesday, November 9th at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
