Obituary of John F. Ciliberto
John F. Ciliberto, “Johnny the Welder" of Katonah, NY, formerly of New Rochelle, NY died on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at his home.
John graduated from New Rochelle High School and then served in the Air Force in Illinois where he met his wife of 64 years Ella Arlene, who predeceased him in 2020.
While in the Air Force he learned his trade of welding. He was a member of Local # 137 Operating Engineers and retired as a Master Mechanic.
He is survived by his five children, Steven of Pawling, NY. Susan of Lumberton, NJ., John of Gaylordsville, CT, Victoria of Carmel, NY and Francis of Mt. Kisco, NY, eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Some of his greatest joys were riding his horses, acting in the Lewisboro Jay Players' productions. He would always say "It's Good to be the King!" while having a cold beer with good food and lots of laughter with family and friends.
John’s family will receive friends on Sunday, May 22 from 3:00pm to 7:00 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY.
Interment will be private.
