Obituary of Michael A Ambrosini

Michael Ambrosini of Somers, NY passed away Sunday, June 26^th, 2022 with his family by his side. He was 78 years old.

Michael was born on August 12, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Barbara (Leopardi) and Antonio Ambrosini.  He was a graduate of St. Francis Prep and attended St. Francis College.  Michael was a Senior Vice President at Securities Industry Automation Corp (NYSE) for many years and retired in 2000.  He was a trusted advisor and mentor to all that asked for his advice.  He served on many boards including Treasurer of Ciao Italia, Condo President for his home in Somers, NY as well as Condo Treasurer for his home in Key Colony Beach, FL. 

Michael will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Carol (nee Magro), whom he was married to for 55 years.  Michael was predeceased by his sister Camille and brother-in-law Anthony Ragusa.  He was a loving brother-in-law to Patricia (Frank) Caruso, Richard (Angela) Magro, and Alfonso (Lana) Magro.  Michael is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews as well as 11 great nieces and nephews. 

Michael’s family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30 at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd, Katonah, NY from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 1 at St Josephs RC Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers, NY at 10:00am

Entombment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY

He will be greatly missed but never forgotten by those whose hearts he has touched over the years. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering (giving.mskcc.org) or American Heart Association (heart.org).
