Obituary of Debra L. Serio

Debra L. Serio (Dede) of Bedford Hills, NY was born to Louis and Louise Lamanna on March 30th, 1959, and passed on September 12th, 2022 at 2:30 a.m.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (Dede), sister, auntie, and friend who has been the glue that bonded friends and family.

We will never truly say goodbye to DeDe; even though she has passed and life will begin to move on her presence will always be felt, as her patriarchal ways will exude out of us as though we are to be disciples of her agenda of everlasting love and care for all that knew her.  She loved relentlessly and connected all through selflessness and joy for the presence of each other.  She spent her final moments surrounded by friends and family asking for nothing more than just kisses and love to send her off onto the next chapter in her life.

Surviving Debra is her loving and cherished husband, best friend, and life-long love of 42 years, Michael, her two beloved children and their wives, Nicholas (Lisa) and Brandon (Michelle), and her four precious grandchildren, Luke John, Charlie Ann, Jack Louis, and Delilah Jacqueline.  She was a beloved sister to Sandra, Annemarie, Marylu, and Laurie, as well as her sister-in-law’s, Deb and Laurie. She was an adored aunt to all her nieces and nephews and a treasured and devoted friend to many.

Her family will receive friends at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd, Katonah, NY  10536 on Friday September 16th from 4:00-8:00. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 17th at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church, 55 Valley Rd. Katonah.

Interment will be private
