I will never forget when Stan and Barb visited Cheryl in Lome, Togo, and they jumped right in there with the Peace Corps Volunteers as we partied our way through town. I was impressed with how easily they navigated this place they'd never been, and connected with these hungry, stressed PCVs. May they rest in peace, enjoying their next great adventure together.

Many positive comments have been said about Stan, but I can add bravery to the list. My husband and I spent the scariest day of our lives, Sept. 28, 2022, Hurricane Ian, huddled together with that man. He helped us barricade our door shut and kept us all calm. Amen!!!
