Obituary of Francis X. Troy

Troy, Francis X. , age 89, of Cortlandt Manor died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Hudson Valley Hospital Center. Mr. Troy was born January 24, 1926 in New York, NY. He is the son of the late John and Bridget (Fitzgerald) Troy. Frank was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Eleanor in 2012 and his daughter, Susan Troy Porter in 2014 During WWII, he served in the Navy Seabees in the Pacific. He retired after 40 years from Metro North Railroad. He is a life member of Elks Lodge 477of Peekskill, NY. Frank is survived by his daughter: Janet and her husband Kevin Tremble; his son-in-law, Tom Porter; his grandchildren: Kelly, Elizabeth, Thomas and Catherine and his sister, Lucy Becker. Family will receive friends on Monday, January 4, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, January 5 at Church Of The Holy Spirit, 1969 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY. Interment to follow at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
