Lauffer and I shared an apartment our second year of business school and built a strong and lasting bond over the course of that year. It was a pivotal year for me - one that set me on the path I would take through my adulthood - and David was a key part of that. His warmth and openness to new experiences rubbed off on me and I am infinitely better for it. I will miss him deeply and thoroughly.

Lauffer and I met while at Darden and cemented our friendship over an epic roadtrip to DC. That weekend was a series of hilarious adventures, and that’s what I loved about being friends with him. Although I never quite knew where the day would take us, I knew that we’d always be laughing together.
I’ve so many great memories: the impromptu dance parties in his NY apartment, the countless night-time shenanigans, and our many late night convos about life. He was generous, loyal, and had an amazing sense of humor. And what I’ll remember most is his laugh - that lilting, somewhat giggly, boisterous laugh. I hope you’re laughing wherever you are my friend. Rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to Amber, Olivia, and Ava.

Dave and I were Darden classmates, fellow New Yorkers, and good friends. I’ll always remember Dave for his smile, laugh, and good nature. We spent countless evenings over great meals (that Dave undoubtedly cooked and I ate), watching boxing matches, hanging out at Slainte, and laughing together. I’ll miss receiving and dishing out life, career, and relationship advice with Dave. He was a great confidant and dear friend.
My deepest thoughts are with Amber, Olivia, and Ava. This was all too soon. RIP Dave

I first met my nephew David when I was 16 and he was 3 months old. David was such a beautiful happy baby.
I used to hold him and sing Tie a Yellow Ribbon by Dawn to him. He loved it. The only person ever to have enjoyed my singing. I have spent very happy times with David and later on with Amber too both in New York and London. I remember him as generous, kind and funny. David you left your family too soon. I will love and remember you always. My love to Amber, Olivia and Ava at this saddest of times.

David and I I were together at the start of his investment banking career at BofA first as summer associates and then as incoming first year Associates where our cubicles were next to each other. We spent many late nights at the office and I enjoyed his sense of humor.
He was very dedicated to the job and took a sense of ownership regarding the Companies he was staffed on which is why he enjoyed success as a Healthcare investment banker .
We dropped out of touch when I left investment banking but I hope his family understands how respected and loved he was and that God gives you the strength to deal with this tragic loss. I was travelling when I heard this news and regret that I am unable to attend the services.

I had the pleasure of working with David in two capacities. The first time as one of his senior banking colleagues at Bank of America in the mid 2000s and the second in a client/adviser relationship, where I was the client, in 2019-2021. David was obviously very smart and accomplished but what always made him stand apart from his colleagues was his professional and polite demeanor, his integrity and his smiley attitude. I never saw David ruffled, stressed or angry. I’m sure he felt those things but never showed them. He always remained calm, balanced and pleasant while delivering his invaluable insights and advice.
To David’s wife, children and the rest of his family, I don’t know you but want you to know David was special and will be missed. RIP David.
