Dave was one of the nicest and most gentle persons I have ever known. It was always a pleasure to be in his company. I will always remember the laughs we shared. Dave, you will be missed.

The first time that I was introduced to David and his lovely wife Gayle was in 1985 by my husband, Peter.
We instantly became friends.
David was a genuinely honest man with a terrific personality.
I have so many fond memories of him that I could write a book.
He has been my husband’s best friend since 1958.
He will be remembered always and he will be in our hearts forever.
Rest in peace our dearest friend David.

This picture is from the last trip that we took to Cape Coral, FL soon after the trip to St. Bart to celebrate Dave’s 65 birthday. I would like to share one other memory an that happened in June of 2020. Deb and I went to visit Dave and Gayle in New York. Dave had a terrible cold and just stared at us for three days and had not spoken in months. We were all sitting on the back patio and all of a sudden Dave got up and walked over to Debbie and kissed her on the lips and gave her a huge hug! He sat back down and looked at me. Again he got up and walked over to me and hugged me for quite a while. Then he turned around and hugged Gayle for a long time!! He let us know he knew who we were!! That’s a memory I will never forget. Rest in peace my dearest friend. Pete

I met Dave about forty years ago when I started working next-door to his office. I soon became his customer, and remained with his office right up to his retirement. Dave cared for all of his customers on a personal level, which truly made him stand out from his peers. I’m going to miss Dave, he was a great guy.

Dave, you gave us so many happy, funny memories. Our family will never quite be complete again without you. Thank you for loving Gayle the way you did, and making her so happy. We'll see you again someday... until then, watch out for screen doors.
We love you,
Jackie & Scott

I am so sorry to learn of Dave's passing. One of my memories of Dave that I often think of was how good and effortless his backhand was on the tennis court. To this day I think of how he did it and credit him with instilling that mental image in my mind. My backhand is now better as a result of sharing a court with Dave!. I'll miss my friend but the memories will live forever. Dave was a great soul...

I met Dave at the corner of central Avenue and tuckahoe Road in 1958 , 65 years ago. I tossed a coke bottle into the woods behind where I was sitting. Dave was walking by and said “ what are you doing? I told him that it’s worth 2 cents. He said you don’t have 2 cents! He then went into the woods and picked it up along with 5 other bottles. David was a hustler at a very young age.He then sat down with me and we chatted for awhile and became the best of friends. So many memories and stories that we shared together over the years , from double dating to the many New Years that we had together. Rest well my dearest of friends! Love you, Peter
