Obituary of Michael Corcione
Michael Corcione died on November 21st, 2023. Michael was born in Albany, NY to Joan (Pleat) and Joseph Corcione and he is the beloved brother of Donna (Corcione) Healy, Lisa (Corcione) French, and Tricia (Corcione) Carlson.
Michael grew up loving and playing many sports. He played on baseball teams, bowling leagues, golf leagues, and softball leagues throughout his life. He found joy in spending evenings and weekends at Mount Kisco Country Club, where he was a loyal member for over 20 years. He was proud of his many golf/sporting tournament accomplishments – always coming home with the biggest smile on his face, regardless of the outcome. He bowled several perfect games (an accomplishment he shares with his late father, Joseph Corcione) and golfed a hole-in-one (an accomplishment he shares with his son, Joe Corcione).
Michael was admired and respected for his incredible work ethic. He started his first job at age 7 as a paperboy in his neighborhood. He worked full-time to put himself through college at Pace University, and later became a Cybersecurity Advisory Board Member for the School of Computer Science. He went onto a diverse career path, where he started as a trader and moved on to become a CCO, then finally landing in Cybersecurity, where he worked as a Partner and Principal for PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP. His current project was building the firm’s Cybersecurity practice in the UK.
Michael is the beloved husband of Kristi (Lombardo) Corcione. He is the loving and devoted father of Joe Corcione, Amanda Corcione, and Melissa Corcione. His family was his pride and joy and he always went above and beyond to bring everyone together and make everyone happy. There aren’t enough words to describe how much Michael means to his family and how sorely he will be missed.
Michael will be remembered for kind heart, generous nature, and positive energy.
There will be a funeral service at The Church of the Good Shepherd on December 3rd at 1 pm, with a reception at Mount Kisco Country Club to follow.
