Obituary of Vivian C. Nahmias

Vivian Chiprut Nahmias, 86, of Somers, NY passed away peacefully               

on June 5th, 2024 at the Paramount of Somers Rehabilitation                    

and Nursing Center.                                                            

She was born on December 13, 1937, the daughter of the late Jack               

and Katie Chiprut. She worked at Young and Rubicam in New York                 

City for many years before having children.                                    

Vivian was married to her beloved husband Shalom for over 50 years.               

They lived in Somers for most of that time and raised their                    

family there.  She had a zest for life and enjoyed every moment.

She was a lifelong tennis player and fan and was a friend to all.                      

She is survived by her son Jack and partner                      

Tricia, her daughter Kate and husband Dan, her two grandchilden                

Megan and Jonathan, her sister Estelle and many nieces and                     

nephews in Israel.                                                             

Vivian was predeceased by her husband Shalom, her brother Albert,              

and her daughter-in-law Debra.   

Family and Friends are invited to gather on Sunday, June 9, 2024

between 9:30 and 10:30am at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 

4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY 10536.

The Funeral Service will  begin at the Funeral Home at 10:30am.

Interment to follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
