Mu condolences to Jackie and Family on Herb's passing. I first met Herb in Sep of 1954 as incoming freshman to Georgetown's Class of '58. We had many adventures in the following years, and we were all constantly entertained by his trenchant wit. I had the pleasure of renewing my friendship we Jackie and Herb, along with Ed and Pam Baran in Sarasota a few years ago. He will be missed. Hoya Saxa my good friend. Jack Kavanagh

We are so sad about Herb's passing. There are so many good memories about the gang during the Chase/loft years and beyond. My father dies of Parkinson's and so I know that this has been quite a profound time for your family. We will be making a contribution to the Parkinson's Foundation in Herb's name. Sadly, for a variety of reasons we cannot come up for the funeral. You are with us in our hearts and minds today. With love and caring, Donna and Chuck Moran

Memories of Herb Tinsley: After rearing our children, we were fortunate to ‘click’ with the Tinsley’s. Following are a few snippets of many happy times together:
. “High” level platform tennis
. St. Patrick’s daily mass followed by the Mt. Kisco diner
. NY wine country & castle tours
. Tennis at Burke’s - hard-tru can be hand hurt-full
. NY Duffey Square ‘twofers’
. Bedford hurricane- amazing lockout at 2:00am
. Killington, Vermont vacation
. Chicago travel itinerary
. Our Bedford Farms move (H & J made it ‘EASY’)
. Sarasota Snow birds
. Scottish Highland Games - free scotch whiskey
. Annual St. Patrick’s ‘wearing of the green’
. Siesta beaches- soft white sand
. Tampa Bay Berns Steakhouse (underdressed)
. Florida Studio ‘CABERET’ & so much more!
Happy, happy times and memories that last & last. We will miss the times we shared a ‘gimlet’ with Herb. God Bless & rest in peace. Ted & Karla Kovacic

Herb was a great brother in law and a first class gentleman. Having spent many a Christmas and Thanksgiving with Herb and Jackie, I have nothing but fond memories.
