I have many fond memories of Uncle John. First off he was my God father and I always joked that he was the reason I was the tallest in my family! My Dad, uncle John’s first cousin, was about half his size. Uncle John always gave me the best of bear hugs too, he was always loving. My best memory of him was during a summer night on Long Island at my parents house where he played the guitar and impersonated Tiny Tim. We all loved this and I remember it as if it were yesterday. How we laughed along with him. My Dad loved him like a brother and often shared with us his fondest memories with his cousins in Staten Island. We love you Uncle John, you will be greatly missed. I first met John in 1977 as a result of knowing his sister Natalie and her husband Tony. Over the years since my wife Jacqui and I have spent many happy times with John and Barbara. The last time in November 2017 in New York. As always John was a great person to be with and we are so sorry to hear of his passing.
John, you are in our prayers also Barbara and the Pardo family.

My sister, Kim and I had the honor of staying in their home during visits to my father, Tony Moody, Sr. Uncle John always welcomed us with open arms and a fatherly, heartfelt, How are you, sweetheart? He was a shining example of true Christian love, generous, as was his sister, Natalie, my second mother.
On the occasion of one visit, I spent hours with him at his computer looking at many of the scanned family photos of generations he had archived, all the way back to Great Grandparents In Spain. I recognized & knew many, if only from pictures Natalie also had in her home with my Dad.
I also enjoyed his love of music & remember when he played guitar Malagueña comes to mind. This love of music & guitar is also passed down to his sons. I grieve for his loss, and for the Pardo Family. Love, Leslie
