Obituary of John Pardo

John Pardo, 81 of South Salem, formerly of Yonkers passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Westchester Medical Center after a brief illness: Born in Staten Island, John was the son of the late Juan and Natalia Pardo. John attended Port Richmond High School, SI, City College of New York and Pratt Institute. At CCNY, he was a member of the Pershing Rifles Fraternity. John served in the US Army and was honorably discharged. John was an Industrial/Package Designer and worked for Walter Dorwin Teague Associates and Donald Deskey Associates of New York City. He was a Scout Master of Boy Scouts Troop 29; volunteered as a docent at the Hudson River Museum, Yonkers; member of Tri-State Corvettes; taught and tutored Photoshop in many locations; taught marching for Revolutionary War Re-enactment at Meadow Pond School, South Salem. John loved books, movies, TV, watching NY sports teams and professional soccer and to travel with family. John is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Revellese Pardo, three children, John (Elizabeth) Pardo of Yonkers, Michael (Jennifer) Pardo of South Salem and Steven (Bridget) Pardo of Latham as well as well as eight cherished grandchildren, John, Thomas, Michael, James, Emily, Steven, Ryan and Olivia Pardo and many other loving members here, in Spain and in France. He was predeceased by his sister, Natalie Pardo Moody. A private service will be held. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in John’s memory.
