Dearest Kate and Alex, Your mom and I were close friends way back when - before you were even a glimmer in her eye. I first met your mom when I answered her ad seeking a roommate. We hit it off immediately and I moved into the cute house in Lincolndale, where I lived with her and a third woman in 1985-86. We had a lot of fun together in that house! Kelly and I remained good friends even after I moved to California. She flew out to be at my wedding in CA in 1987. In about 1991-92, she and your dad came and stayed with us when we lived in Reno, NV. We did some skiing with them, along with some other things... and my horse bucked off your dad in our riding arena! We slowly lost touch as the years went by, but always exchanged Christmas cards. She was one of the few people in my life who I knew, no matter what, where or when, would be there for me if I needed her. I am so very sorry for your loss. Rest in peace, my friend Kels Bels... snuggly soft, gadget ❤️
