Ah, Bill; you were wonderfully gracious in sharing your homemade chili. How fortunate I was several times when picking up our daughter from hanging out with Lauren, you would meet me at the door with good size Tupperware bowl of your homemade chili; “Hi, Thom, take this home and try some of my chili”. It was outstanding; any firehouse would have been fortunate to have your recipe. We know that heaven is made even a nicer place with your presence there. Rest in peace, my friend. With warm thoughts of You, Barbara, Melissa, Connor and Lauren, all the Newmans.

My friend my buddy, Bill was always there for me I had the privilege to work with bill for over four years side by side and in those years Bill changed the way I thought and acted. There was something about Bill that made you want to do better on the job and off. Over the years our friendship became the best we had a lot of good times, the world has lost a great person and he will always be missed by everyone who knows Bill, we love you Bill God bless you my dear friend.

Gutted. That’s what the world should feel upon learning of the loss of Billy Kenealy. Billy…a man who never judged, never stirred the pot, never had a bad thing to say about anyone, always had a smile, a joke, always had a way of just adding “niceness” and light in places and times where it was often needed . My heart is broken for Barbara-Ann, Melissa, Connor and Lauren and every person who was lucky to have spent even a few minutes of their day with Billy because one thing is for certain—your day was happier when he was in it. I’m saddened by this great loss and the only consolation anyone can have is to know that our lives were all nicer while Bill was a part of it AND that big spirit of his will continue on in our memories and in his children. Don’t wait to spend time with people you care about because you never know when you might not have a chance to see them again. Love from Lisa Santangelo Margulis and from my family.
