Remembering my dear Uncle Bob…he was the last of the generation of my parents and my cousins’ parents. He and my Aunt JoJo were a perfect couple. Their love for one another and their family was deep. From a very young age I knew that their relationship was one that we all wish for in Life. As gregarious as Aunt JoJo was, Uncle Bob was a bit reserved. He was thoughtful, honest and sincere. Aunt JoJo always said “Bob is so handsome.” He really was! In fact they were both beautiful, inside and out! They were completely dedicated to each other. This was true to the end. Uncle Bob cared for Aunt JoJo with tenderness and love when she fell ill before passing away. His capacity to love has been passed on to his children (my cousins), his grandchildren and I’m sure will continue to shine through his great grandchildren.
I am grateful to have known my Uncle Bob and to have received his gift; the knowledge and his quiet but profound message that love prevails. Sending love and prayers to family and friends, Jeanine Sisco
